Our Trip to Barry Island

We recently went on a trip to Barry Island with our parents and teachers. The weather wasn't looking so good when we left school but it got better at the beach. We had a fabulous time playing in the sand.

Counting

Minibeasts

We have been looking at different sizes of minibeasts. We had lots of different sized ones that we put in order of their size. We are very clever, don't you think?

Tomatoes!!!

We have been tasting tomatoes! We have been carefully cutting our tomatoes into slices and tasting them, They were delicious!

A Nursery Update

We have been practising our letters in the sand! It feels lovely and soft as we move our finger around to form a letter.

Over the last few weeks we have been extremely busy in our class.  Our new role play area has become a Vets Surgery to fit in with our pets theme which we absolutely love!  We care for all sorts of animals in there such as snakes, birds, mice, cats, dogs, sheep etc.
At the moment we are learning about minibeasts.  We have made minibeasts out of playdough, painted minibeast pictures, written about them and well, the list is endless.

We have a busy final term approaching and are looking forward to having lots of fun!
